It is my aim to provide consistently high quality, personalised therapy and personal growth and mentoring at a price that is ‘reasonable’ to both you and myself. To achieve this I focus on keeping my business costs low and my levels of service high, and although face to face therapy is an investment, it can be very effective for improving the emotional quality of your life.

I endeavour to help people with as few sessions as is realistic and I provide  many hours of additional audio recordings to listen to, this helps reduce the number of sessions required.

Pricing options

1.5 hour session £110
Standard session length.
2 hour session £130
This is my preferred session length as it affords us the time to really apply the change work at great depth.
3 hour session £180
Many of my clients come a long way to work with me as there are very few therapist that fully understand anxiety and specialise in treating anxiety disorders or delivering my kind of emotional mastery personal growth education. They may be tiring, however, these 3 hour sessions make the trip far more cost effective.
Note:

I would advise that the first session be 2 hours long when working with anxiety or OCD.

Free initial consultation

This is normally by phone, however, you are very welcome to have this meeting in my office, it usually lasts about 20 minutes and is an informal way of outlining your needs and discussing the outcomes that you are looking for and importantly, it allows you to ensure you feel comfortable with me before making a commitment.

 

Number of sessions required

On average I see clients between 3 – 9 sessions, however, this is very dependent of your problem and the length of time you have been living with it. Deep seated anxiety and OCD may need more sessions over a longer period of time.

Session frequency is initially weekly and then can be extended to wider gaps after the first three depending on finances, time and how you are responding to the therapeutic interventions.

Note: The work I do is NOT focused on you talking and talking about your problems and going over your past time and time again, I feel this just reinforces old patterns and revives unhelpful emotions. My style of therapy and education is based on teaching you new ways to act, new ways to think, new ways to connect with your emotions and completely new ways to interact with life and yourself. In fact, I do most of the talking for the first session or two as I give you dozens of new ways of recognising and understanding your problem, then I teach you the techniques required to move through them. This new way of being not only helps you to overcome your presenting problem, it also allows you to change other aspects of who you are and how you interact with life and those around you.

 

Working week

Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 20:00 (last session starting at 18:00)

Friday 08:00 – 17:30 (last session starting at 16:00)

Saturday & Sunday closed (as my work life balance is deeply important to me).

 

Travel logistics

The nearest train station is Milton Keynes (20 minutes away by taxi). If you would like me to meet you at the station and return you after the session I am happy to do this for a fee of £40. Buses do service Buckingham from Milton Keynes & Oxford via Bicester, Brackley and Banbury.

 

The 1 day “make it happen” session

£390 (plus costs)

Sometimes there are things that just need to happen in our life and we can benefit from having a professional on-hand to ensure that it does happen – and to give you the full emotional and psychological support to ensure that you see the task right through to the end. Someone who is prepared to do whatever it takes to motivate and propel you to the right outcome. I have a rich and diverse skill set that covers human behaviour, communication, business, relationships, sales, marketing and personal growth and I can support you on many levels.

  • Fear of flying – Fly with you to ensure your therapy works
  • Fear of trains – travel with you to ensure your changes are working
  • Fear of driving – drive with you to ensure you remain calm and take back control
  • Fearful of large cities or busy shopping areas – I’ll come with you, therapy and support, whilst enabling you to overcome your old problems
  • Motivation to take control of your house – De-clutter, spring clean, move it all around – motivation to make it happen and see it through
  • Job interviews – travel with you, increase your confidence and keep you calm

Some therapists like to talk about action, I really want to see action happen – this is where real change comes, when we stop talking and start doing – I can help you to do this.

 

Payment

Payment is made in full at the end of each session by cash or by cheque. Any cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. If your financial situation is difficult, please talk to me before booking any sessions and we can explore what might be possible, although I can’t promise anything.
